The Dulce Independent School District, located in beautiful northern New Mexico and on the Jicarilla Apache Tribal Land, is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

·       Master’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid New Mexico administrative license or eligibility for a New Mexico administrative license.

·       Three to five years of teaching experience.

·       Three years of administrative experience.

 

 

Candidate Characteristics and Key Skill Areas

·       Proven experience of respect and commitment to diversity.

·       Demonstrated integrity and interpersonal skills to build trust.

·       Experience with all aspects of school finance, federal sources and especially NM Operational and Capital formulas.

·       A strategic thinker with the ability to lead, innovate and motivate.

 

SALARY:                                 $130,000 - $150,000

START DATE:                         Negotiable.  Beginning June 1, 2025, or ASAP after selection.
